I was born and raised in Manila. I graduated from the University of Medicine in 1975. At the university I met my future wife Maria. Until 2009 I worked in my specialty - orthopedic.

- Interesting. What happened in 2009 and why did you decide to leave your work as an orthopedist?

In 2007, Maria was diagnosed osteoarthritis of the knee joint. It is worth noting that this was a turning point in our lives, even though then it seemed to us that it was an intolerable trial.
